About us
We are a small group
of women listening
with great care.

Our manifesto
detHERmination exists because women's accounts of war are still treated as footnotes. We refuse the footnote. We believe a kitchen, a notebook, a balcony at dawn are also archives. We believe the right to be remembered, in one's own words, is a human right. We are not journalists. We are not historians. We are women keeping a record.
Four principles
01
She is the author.
Every story is told by the woman who lived it. We edit lightly, we never narrate over.
02
Consent is continuous.
Submissions can be withdrawn at any time, in any language, for any reason.
03
Memory before metric.
We do not measure suffering. We preserve presence.
04
No image without invitation.
Every photograph is made in collaboration. Faces are never used without permission.

Over three hundred women in twenty-six countries. Still volunteer-led. Still slow on purpose.
